I recently purchased this HDMI switch so I could free up a few ports on my tv. Thanks to our cable company, we needed an HDMI cable for our cable box, blue ray player, and other electronics. It just became a big tangled mess. With this switch, I was able to have just one cord going to my tv instead of several. The other cords were then able to be tied together neatly.
